Sunscreen clothing is designed to protect the skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Take care of your sunscreen clothing as you would any other clothing. Sunscreen, chlorine from swimming pools and salt from sea water are harmful to the material, so removing them immediately after use is recommended and will extend the life of the product.

Follow our tips below:

1. Rinse and wring out after each use

Use running water. This will remove most of the grease and chlorine right away. Wring out any excess water from the garment. Avoid stretching the garment too much to prevent it from stretching out of shape.

2. Dry

Sun protection clothing should be dried soon after rinsing in an airy place, preferably hanging. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged heat and ultraviolet rays weaken the material. The clothing dries quickly even in the shade!

3. Storage

Please do not store wet clothing in a bag or backpack for long periods of time, as sun protection clothing stored in damp and hot conditions may develop an unpleasant odor. Therefore, always store the clothing dry and in the shade, folded in air.

4. Dry care of the material

If sand gets inside the tricot, gently stretch the dry material and scrape off the grains of sand. Finally, shake.

5. Washing

Wash your sun protection clothing regularly in a washing machine at 40 degrees. The use of fabric softener is not recommended, as it weakens the flexibility of the material. Avoid washing clothes with Velcro at the same time, as the rough adhesive can cause the knitwear to pill. We recommend using a laundry bag. Hang to dry in an airy place and store loosely folded in a dry place.
